Unhaunt This House is a haunt-busting tabletop game where you play spectre-hunters traversing a distorted nightmare building to find the source of the haunting.

Snoop around the haunt, dodge shifting architecture or spectral inhabitants and gather clues to make the Final Pronouncement that might dispel the Haunt's ectoplasmic epicentre.

This game comes with 3 example Haunts for a spooky time -

  • The House of the Collector
  • The Magistrate's Court
  • The Ligean Aquarium

Moreover, I have made a random generator for locations and clues for usage if you are running the example Haunts. This generator was created via StorySynth and a link to it can be found in the downloads section.

Made for the Together We Jam game jam, Unhaunt This House is based on the Together We Go system created by Markus Linderum and developed by Tony Vasinda for Down We Go & Through The Void (which are also key inspirations for this game). The mystery solving vibes are inspired by Brindlewood Bay by Jason Cordova and Paranormal Inc by Alicia Furness.

This seems very interesting! Is there a recommended minimum or maximum number of players?

Hi!

Thank you! I had 3-4 players in mind when writing the game but suspect going to 5 players is doable.

Many thanks,

Yanahn
